The easiest, fastest way to install Git is with Yum (Yellowdog Updater, Modified), CentOS’s package manager. Follow these steps to install the latest version of Git on your CentOS 7 server. Find and install the latest version with the command: yum install git. Now you’ve got Git and you’re ready to go!
I met some difficulties when two hard drives linked to my server, one is installed with Cent0S7.3 in legacy mode, and another is definitely install with Cent0S7.3 in uefi mode。And after that Whether in legacy mode or in uefi mode, the machine failed to enter the CentOS7.3 program. CentOS7.3(legacy)+CentOS7.3(uefi) and CentOS7.3(uefi)+CentOS7.3(uefi) have got the same phenomenon.when eliminate one difficult drive, the server can boot effectively and enter into the program.
